How We Protect Your Data
Encryption in Transit
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL. Your bill never travels unprotected.
No Permanent Storage
Your medical bills are processed in real-time and deleted after analysis. We don't build a database of your health information. The safest data is data that doesn't exist.
Stripe PCI Compliance
We never see or store your credit card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS Level 1 certification — the highest standard in payment security.
No Data Sales
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information or health data. Our revenue comes from Dispute Packs — not from monetizing your data.
Regulatory Awareness
Our AI analysis is informed by established healthcare billing regulations and standards:
- CMS Guidelines: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services rules for billing practices and code usage
- NCCI Rules: National Correct Coding Initiative edits that define proper code bundling
- Federal Hospital Price Transparency Rule: CMS requirements (in effect since January 2021, with expanded machine-readable file requirements as of January 2024) that obligate hospitals to publish standard pricing — which we reference for fair-market comparisons
