These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of billbodyguard.com and the Bill Bodyguard application (the "Service") operated by Bill Bodyguard ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

What Bill Bodyguard Does
Bill Bodyguard is an AI-powered hospital bill auditing tool. Here's how it works:
- Free Bill Scan: You upload a hospital bill (photo or PDF), and our AI analyzes it for potential overcharges, including upcoding, unbundling, facility fee issues, supply markups, and duplicate charges.
- Dispute Pack ($9): If issues are found, you can purchase a Dispute Pack for a one-time fee of $9. This includes customized dispute letters, a plain-language explanation of findings, and guidance on next steps.
Important: Bill Bodyguard provides informational analysis only. We are not a law firm, medical provider, or insurance company. Our results are not legal or medical advice.
Your Responsibilities
When using Bill Bodyguard, you agree to:
- Upload only bills that belong to you or that you have authorization to review
- Provide accurate information when submitting bills for analysis
- Use the Service for its intended purpose of reviewing medical bills
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or misuse the Service
- Not upload any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
Payment Terms
Pricing
Bill scanning is free. Dispute Packs cost a one-time fee of $9 per bill analysis. Prices are in US dollars. We'll always show you the price before you pay.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on Dispute Packs. If you're not satisfied for any reason, contact us at Prasanthi@PrasanthiBallada.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund. No questions asked.
No Account Required
You don't need to create an account to use Bill Bodyguard. We designed it this way to minimize data collection and make the experience as simple as possible.
Intellectual Property
The Bill Bodyguard name, logo, design, and underlying technology are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without written permission.
You retain all rights to the bills and documents you upload. We do not claim any ownership over your data.
Disclaimers
We want to be transparent about what Bill Bodyguard is and isn't:
- Not legal advice: Our analysis is informational. For legal matters, consult an attorney.
- Not medical advice: We analyze billing codes, not medical decisions.
- AI limitations: Our AI is powerful but not perfect. It may produce false positives (flagging something that's correct) or false negatives (missing an actual error). We always recommend reviewing findings with the billing department.
- No guarantees: We cannot guarantee that a hospital will accept a dispute or reduce a bill. Results vary based on the specific situation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bill Bodyguard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Dispute Resolution
We believe in resolving issues directly and fairly. If you have a concern:
- Contact us first: Email Prasanthi@PrasanthiBallada.com and we'll work to resolve it.
- Mediation: If we can't resolve it directly, we agree to attempt mediation before pursuing other remedies.
- Arbitration: Any unresolved disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Austin, Texas.
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall take place in Austin, Travis County, Texas.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we believe you are violating these Terms or using the Service in a way that could harm other users or the platform. Since no account is required, termination may involve blocking access based on other identifiers.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
For significant changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify users through the Service.
